The Rocket Summer, the brainchild of Bryce Avary, release their newest album SHADOWKASTERS. It’s a departure from the piano-driven alt-rock of The Rocket Summer’s past, diving deeper into the synth-enriched waters the musician tested on his previous album.
“I let myself tap in and reset with this one creatively. I had begun writing fictional stories as creative exercises and I started to make what I referred to as ‘tiny soundtracks’ to these unreleased films in my mind,” the musician says.
SHADOWKASTERS features the released singles “M4U,” “Stuck Inside Your Light” and “Sing At The Top.” The Rocket Summer’s biggest hits include “Do You Feel?” and “So Much Love,” both garnering millions of online listens
SHADOWKASTERS was recorded at SoundCirque, a studio located in a rural compound that Avary lives on in Dallas, Texas. The album was heavily inspired by his love of 90s indie music.
