Epitaph recording artists Thrice have announced that they’re dropping a new record entitled Horizons/East, September 17, and a new single called “Scavengers” which is available now.

Horizons/East is an exercise in awareness of self and the reality we’re part of, a musical discourse on deeper themes regarding the nature of our world and ultimately, how we fit into it.  It’s a profoundly meditative work that challenges the listener to reach deep inside oneself and search for true character and strength in trying times, to strive for a sense of actualization.

Regarding the new single, “Scavengers,” vocalist Dustin Kensrue states about it:

…toxic worldviews I once inhabited…a lot of people that I love are still in that place.

Thrice hits the road for a fall tour beginning September 24 in Houston, Texas and concluding October 30 in Anaheim, California. Support acts include Touché Amoré, Jim Ward (appearing at select dates only), and Self Defense Family.
