News: Thru It All Release ‘Holy Water’

Thru It All

Pop punk and post hardcore band Thru It All show they’re a scene force to recon with on their new song “Holy Water.” The track anchors the band’s recently dropped album chaos zen. It’s a pallet cleanser and then some for music fans missing the old-school Four Year Strong sound.

“The song dives into the idea of never learning your lesson with a person you know has wronged you,” the band state.

“Holy Water” is an upbeat anthem clearly inspired by ’90’s alternative stars. Still, there is a modern touch to the track. The band play with contemporary bells and whistles without selling out the song’s soul.

“Honestly, musically, we wanted to see what it would sound like if we just wrote a pop song to predictable, four-chord progression and didn’t listen to the inner voice saying ‘make it more complicated,’” the band continues.

The Oklahoma natives will take “Holy Water” and chaos zen on the road when they perform at The Viper Room in Los Angeles on February, 3. For tickets to that show and more on Thru It All, click here.
