Thundercat has announced a run of North American headlining dates for 2020. The 26-date trek will be the longest yet by bassist/vocalist Stephen Bruner. The announcement comes with a comical teaser video, directed by Zack Fox.
While Bruner’s last full-length as Thundercat, the critically acclaimed Drunk, came out in 2017, he’s kept busy since with a remix album, Drank, and contributions to releases by artists including Janelle Monae, Travis Scott, and Kali Uchis. The 2020 tour follows Bruner’s sold-out, 14-night residency at York’s iconic Blue Note Jazz Club and opening slot for Anderson .Paak in 2019.
