Post-hardcore act Too Close To Touch have released their final album, For Keeps, via Epitaph Records. It’s a celebration of the beloved late frontman Keaton Pierce; the posthumous release taps into a library of both incomplete and unreleased material brought to life by friends within The Word Alive, Cane Hill and Bad Omens.

For over than a decade, Too Close To Touch have earned continuous praise for their skillful musicianship and intricate arrangements that highlight every member’s ability. The frontman, Keaton Pierce, was the glue that held them together throughout it all and after Pierce’s death in 2022, the other members dedicated this last album to him. The title is a play on one of Pierce’s many nicknames, “Keeps,” as a way to preserve his legacy.
Too Close To Touch on “Novocaine”:
“It served as a timeless tribute to the friendship and artistic bond shared by Keaton and Noah. ‘Novocaine’ could never have been completed, nor would it have ever been released if not for Noah and all of you, the fans, with your immense effort in keeping Keaton’s memory alive and thriving. We can’t thank you enough, but we hope that each and everyone of you lose your voices as you scream their words along with them.”
