Lexington, Kentucky band Too Close to Touch released a new song yesterday called “Hopeless” which features Telle Smith of The Word Alive. The song is one of the final tracks to be recorded with the band’s late frontman Keaton Pierce, who unfortunately died last year. The song was released to be close to Pierce’s birthday, which is on September 3.
“In loving, living, infinite memory of Keaton, we present ‘Hopeless,'” the surviving members of the band say in a statement. “This song is a culmination of our years long musical journey, sourced from a library of unfinished and unreleased material. With bittersweet feelings we share this track-but with the support of all those involved, we’ve crafted something that truly honors Keaton’s legacy. We cherish your attentive ears and roaring voices keeping Keaton’s spirit alive through his words. Sing with us.”
