News: TR/ST Releases New Surprise EP

Los Angeles based artist TR/ST, formerly Trust, is releasing a surprise EP, TR/ST EP, on January 26 via Dais Records. It comprises of five tracks and will land on all platforms at midnight. In addition to this, TR/ST will also be performing at the Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, CA, May 11.

In addition to the previously released track, “Robrash,” there will be four others. The focus track is a Pet Shop Boys cover of “Being Boring” featuring Jake Shears. The EP also contains dance floor track, “Run,” also featuring Jake Shears. A delicate and nearly ambient composition, “Evercall,” comes next. The record also features an official release of the fan favorite “Slug” (previously only released to YouTube in 2015).

Born in Winnipeg, performer Robert Alfons made his debut on the music scene in 2010, sending many ripples throughout the Toronto underground. This lead to several world tours and a relocation to Los Angeles. It furthered his musical horizons into two full length albums. Since 2019, he has been on a hiatus but he has returned thanks to Dais Records.
