News: Turnstile + Converse Team Up For Limited Edition Sneakers

Baltimore’s hardcore heroes Turnstile have teamed up with Converse for a limited edition drop of sneakers. After harnessing the overlap between alternative music and the skateboarding lifestyle, they’ve taken another step forward in their career: a collaborative capsule with Converse. In celebration of the release, they’ve shot the campaign video in Baltimore, their birthplace and home. It has been available globally at Converse.Com and select retail stores since January 25, 2024.

The drop features two limited edition shoes: a Converse Chuck 70 and One Star Pro. One was inspired by Turnstile’s album art and the band’s personal style. They recall motifs from Glow On, including but not limited to translucent detailing, a custom license plate, and a “floating orb” graphic. The One Star Pro leans heavily into the skateboarding silhouette, with a CONS traction outsole. It’s a lockdown fit for skaters fused with the shimmering baby pink of their 2021 album cover.

In this point of time, Turnstile have been touted for their innovative ethos and creative energy. From groundbreaking albums to powerful live shows, they’ve transformed the genre’s audience into an evergrowing global diverse fanbase. Whilst Converse has a long history with the music industry and continue to recognize an artist’s style. They work on putting footwear that feel true to the artists of whom, they work with.
