News: Turnstile Make History with Five Grammy Nominations

Turnstile

Ahead of the Recording Academy’s 68th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, the unveiling of the nominations saw Turnstile named as contenders in five categories.

The Baltimore hardcore legends—vocalist Brendan Yates, bassist Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang, and guitarists Pat McCrory and Meg Mills—are recognized across the Academy’s Rock, Metal, and Alternative categories. Their latest album, 2025’s NEVER ENOUGH, earned them five nominations: Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song (“NEVER ENOUGH”), Best Rock Performance (“NEVER ENOUGH”), Best Alternative Music Performance (“SEEIN’ STARS”), and Best Metal Performance (“BIRDS”). Stream NEVER ENOUGH here.

In a historic feat, Turnstile are the first band to be nominated in the Rock, Metal, and Alternative categories in a single year. They have now earned a total of nine Grammy nominations: In 2024, they were up for Best Remixed Recording (“Alien Love Call”), and in 2023, they were up for Best Rock Performance (“Holiday”), Best Metal Performance (“Blackout”), and Best Rock Song (“Blackout”).

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on February 6, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
