U.K. doom outfit Godthrymm have recently announced to release their new record Distortions, which will be out on August 18 through Profound Lore Records. The album is the second part of Glencross’ Visions trilogy—The third part, Projections, is already in the works.
In advance of the record’s release, the band have released the first single, “Echoes,” off of the album.

Band member Hamish Glencross says:
“This last couple of years brought challenge and heartache to too many of us. ‘Echoes’ is our ode to loss and grief. We lost people very dear to us, and this song came from that. Love and loss is universal, and I hope we may share and connect through our music.”
