News: Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats Release New Single Ahead of Album

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats just dropped a new song from their forthcoming album, title “Death’s Door.”

The band are returning with a new masterpiece album, Nell’ Ora Blue. It’s set to release Friday, May 10 via Rise Above Records. The album is a true tour-de-force when it comes to dramatic ingenuity, inspired by the dark, mysterious, and often bloody Italian Giallo film scene.

The album is a spine-chilling soundtrack that will take the listener to a world filled with both suspense and dread. Born from the mind of Kevin Starrs,, this is a breathtaking instrumental soundtrack for a nonexistent film. It’ll leave you on the edge of your seat with your heart racing with anticipation. On this album, Starrs formulates a narrative that’s somehow both beautiful and horrifying at the same time.

One thing that makes this album stand out is that it features exclusive dialogue from the Italian cinema legends Edwige Fenech and Franco Nero. It also serves as a testament to the legacy of Italian Horror from the 1970s.

Kevin Starrs on Nell’ Ora Blue:

“I had no plans to play it live in the beginning, but now that it’s finished, I’d like to do a few performances of the whole album. You can’t really do these things spur of the moment, as venues get booked up so far in advance. But hopefully, we can make it work for early next year. We won’t be touring it, though. It will be a few shows … and then that’s it.”
