Metal veterans Uncle Dave’s Biscuit Barrel drop their newest single “Monkey Spank” ahead of their upcoming E.P. release. Uncle Dave’s Biscuit Barrel Goes Apeshit In Your Laundry will come out on August 18.
“Featuring a face-smashing, metalcore-esque main riff, this track is sure to get people into a groove,” the band say. “It also features top shredding action from Drew, who really gets the chance to let loose.”
“Monkey Spank” is the lead single off the upcoming E.P., capturing the juxtaposition between humor and angst. Its crunching guitar riff will please fans of the Slayer and 80’s Anthrax sound.
Formed in the early ’90s, Uncle Dave’s Biscuit Barrel broke up at the height of their popularity but resurrected just before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. Geography and circumstances mean about half of the original lineup is on board.
