VR SEX have announced their upcoming album Hard Copy, which will be released on March 22 through Dais Records. VR SEX is the psychedelic post-punk vehicle of Noel Skum (aka Andrew Clinco of Drab Majesty). VR SEX released the LP Rough Dimension in 2022 and soon became a fully collaborative five-piece band. The band have released their first single from the record, titled “Real Doll Time.”

The upcoming album is mixed by guitarist Mike Kriebel, who is an accomplished sound engineer. As the band mention, the album’s title refers to the uncanny valley between:
“facsimile and the real thing, and the illusion that one is better than the other – when both come with their own menu of delights and demonic pleasures.”
