Colorado extreme metal legion Wayfarer have unleashed their most realized and monumental album to date – A Romance With Violence – ahead of it’s Friday, October 16th release date, at Metal Injection alongside a long-form and tell-all interview.

A Romance With Violence has already received high acclaim from Decibel Magazine, Metal Injection, Brooklyn Vegan, Invisible Oranges, Metal Hammer, Revolver, and more. The seven song cavalcade of harrowing and adventurous anthems have pushed Wayfarer further than they’ve ever gone – showing how fierce and unstoppable this Denver quartet truly is.

About A Romance With Violence, Wayfarer guitarist and vocalist Shane McCarthy shares:

Through the music, the album aims to tell stories – if not always by words but by feel,” explains guitarist/vocalist Shane McCarthy. “It uses a cast of tropes like the a mysterious rider destined to die by the same way he lives, “The Iron Horse” of the transcontinental railroad that serves as a vehicle for the expansion of the unforgiving new world, the dreams of men headed west to pursue the “American dream,” a pseudo-elegant dance of the gunfighters of old – and culminates it all onto a stage that comes crashing down into existential chaos.

A Romance With Violence will see it’s release on LP, CD, and digital on Friday, October 16, 2020 via Profound Lore Records. Order now.
