Chicago grinders Weekend Nachos are booked to play the Maryland Deathfest XIX as well as a gig at the Cabaret Metro, November 18. Weekend Nachos will open Harms Way‘s Common Suffering record release show at the Metro with All Out War, Fleshwater, and Ingrown.
The Nachos broke up in early 2017 after releasing 2016’s Apology record, a lesson in extreme power violence and sonic brutality.
Vocalist John Hoffman has kept himself busy since Weekend Nachos called it a day seven years ago. He’s dropped music with the likes of Spine, Ledge, and Stomach which features Adam Tomlinson of Sick/Tired, and Sea Of Shit.
Stomach recently released a new song called “Midnight In Pain” from their forthcoming album,Parasite, set for release October 20 via Hibernation Release. The band also has a show booked September 28 at Reggies in Chicago with Crowbar, Primitive Man, and Bodybox.
Weekend Nachos, hailing from DeKalb, IL formed in 2004 waving the banner of hardcore punk proudly.
