White Reaper continues their hot streak with a hit-of-a-song titled “Pink Slip.” It follows the band’s release of “Pages” which cracked the top 15 on the Alternative Radio charts. It’s the band’s third single to be released off their forthcoming album Asking for a Ride. It drops on January, 27.
“Pink Slip” is joined by a visualizer featuring live footage and behind the scenes clips shot over the past year with additional VFX by Harry Steel.
“We ask ourselves: ‘Does it sound good when we play it in the room together?’ And if it does, those are the songs we want to pursue” explains guitarist and vocalist Tony Esposito.
Recorded and largely self-produced in Nashville with the help of close friend and engineer Jeremy Ferguson, Asking for a Ride finds the Louisville band taking a more direct and in-your-face approach, prioritizing the collection’s raw energy and its ability to translate live through ripping and nervy compositions.
White Reaper hits the ground running with a North American tour in support of the upcoming album. The upcoming trek will feature special guests Narrow Head, Militarie Gun, Taipei Houston, and Mamalarky on select dates, and will kick off February, 7.
