News: Wicca Phase Springs Eternal Drops New Video

Wicca Phase Springs Eternal

Wicca Phase Springs Eternal has released a new video for the track “I Know The Raven” from forthcoming EP Midnight at the Castle Moorlands. The album is due out October 25 via Run For Cover Records. Preorders are up now. Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, also known as singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Adam McIlwee, self produced the EP which follows up the self titled full length record released last year.

Regarding “I Know The Raven,” McIlwee states:

“A return to my favorite strumming pattern since Tigers Jaw, with the low-fi production of distorted guitars and Juno synthesizers that I could never seem to capture before. This song is about silent reflection and observing the magic in natural places: the river’s tide, the wind through the trees, and the movement patterns of animals.”

About Midnight at the Castle Moorlands Mcllwee says:

“I wanted to make the most organic sounding album I could while using electronic production. I’m always trying to figure out how to immerse the listener even more–whether that’s sonically or lyrically, and for these songs that meant reining things in and grounding them. I didn’t want to keep getting bigger and bigger, I wanted something looser and more lo-fi.”

McIlwee got his start as a member of indie band Tigers Jaw moving on to found Gothboiclique, a trailblazer in the world of Soundcloud rap. He’s collaborated with Ethel Cain and even written a theme song for AEW wrestling star Darby Allin.
