Winona Fighter, the punk trio that have been gaining notoriety in recent months, have taken a significant step by announcing the release of their debut album, My Apologies To The Chef.
The album, which is set to drop on February 14, 2025, via Rise Records, not only promises to be a direct and intense offering but also showcases plenty of character. Featuring 14 tracks, the group aim to solidify their presence with this release, especially after a series of singles that have successfully captured the attention of both punk fans and critics alike.
The first teaser from this highly anticipated work is the song “Attention,” which already has a music video available for the public. This track sets the tone for what we can expect from the album: a raw sound filled with emotion and a satirical twist that characterizes the band.

Speaking about this release, vocalist Coco Kinnon can’t hide her excitement:
“We have been waiting a long time for this moment, and we can finally say that ‘My Apologies To The Chef’ is on the way. The entire process was very DIY, from writing the songs to recording them in our home studio. It was a team effort between Dan, Austin, and me.”
Coco also emphasizes how special this album is for the band, as it perfectly reflects who they are:
“It is a punk album, plain and simple. Fourteen songs that came out of a garage or a guest bedroom. It is visceral, full of feeling, and there could not be a better way to introduce ourselves as a band.”
Furthermore, she expresses gratitude to their team and the fans who have supported them from the beginning:
“We always said we just needed one person to believe in us, and now we have so many more people on our side. We cannot wait to share this album with the world.”
