Fire In The Mountains, the fully immersive music, art, and wilderness festival, will take place July 22-24, 2022 at Heart Six Ranch in the Teton Wilderness of Wyoming. Wolves In The Throne Room and Steve Von Till will make exclusive performances for festival curator Ivar Bjornson’s highly anticipated showcase, “Wings Over Utgard.”

Ivar Bjornson states:

“It is time to present a new batch of pure excellence for next year’s festival. What an honor! If an American band should ever be referred to as a force of nature, it has to be Wolves in the Throne Room. Their genuine relationship to nature and the topics they express in their art is an inspiration for us all. Having toured with them, I can also sign off on them being an excellent live band—not to mention that they are a fine bunch of people to hang out with—and what better place than in the mountains!?

Today’s second announcement is an absolute honor for me; Steve von Till has been a hero for years and years. His solo endeavors are magical and have moved and influenced me and countless others. I am looking forward to his performance in the wilderness more than I can express in words (but I had to try).”

Joining Enslaved and Ivar Bjornson for Fire In The Mountains Festival 2022 are Yob, Visigoth, Eternal Champion, Wayfarer, Obsequiae, Yellow Eyes, Sean Parry – Sacred Knot, Dreadnought, Haunter, DBUK, Nechochwen, Tchornobog, Lykotonon, Ghosts of Glaciers, and of course Wolves In The Throne Room, and Steve Von Till.
