News: Wormrot Release New Single ‘Weeping Willow’ with Cinematic ‘Grieve Trilogy’ Video

Singapore grindcore trio Wormrot have dropped their newest single, “Weeping Willow,” along with a brilliantly made, cinematic music video titled “Grieve Trilogy.” “Weeping Willow” is the story of a father who will do anything to protect his son, no matter it is the current life or the afterlife. Eighteen-year old violinist Myra Choo has given a distinct flavor to this song with her contribution, which is not often seen to be associated with grindcore.

The Grieve Trilogy includes the tracks “Grieve,” “Weeping Willow,” and “Voiceless Choir” from the band’s upcoming album. Watch the “Grieve Trilogy” video on YouTube:

Wormrot are set to release their fourth studio album, Hiss, on July 8 via Earache Records. Preorder of the album is now available on CD, vinyl and cassette tape format here.
