U.K.’s eclectic music specialists Yakul deliver an exceptional track, “Only.” It’s a bittersweet and moving track that glides through the soul. The unveiling of this track is just the taste of what’s to come in their album, Gravity Pulls You Home, to be released August 2.
The stunning vocals by James Berkely lead the music into a full-fledged sonic dream, and it will take you places. Straight from Brighton, these gents have toured throughout the U.K. and made a name for themselves through hard work and delivering original music. The music encapsulates a more healing connection to music. Their intensions seem to be more derived from tranquility and peace, a rarer quality in music today.
Vocalist James Berkley says, “Before we went on the writing retreat, we decided to come together and do a bit of a test-run. It had been so long since we’d written a song together in the same room that we all just felt we needed to make sure we were all on the same page. It came together rapid! And we all knew it was gonna be a fun trip. It’s more of a stripped back one for us; it has something special to it, and we’ve been coming back to it ever since.”
