Members of hardcore band Year Of The Knife were all injured during a recent car accident involving a tractor-trailer while driving through Utah. A GoFundMe for the band was set up immediately and is still active and accepting donations for the band. With vocalist Madi Watkins sustaining the most severe injuries of the accident, an update has been given by YOTK guitarist Brandon Watkins, Madi’s husband and bandmate. They are actively seeking the best care for her, and part of her recovery plan includes neuropathy therapy to address her specific needs.

Brandon’s update states: “Not much to update today things are pretty much the same. Madi will respond to our voices in little ways like moving her hand or blinking a little extra when we’re talking to her. It’s hard for me to be patient but I know it’s all baby steps. I just miss her dearly.”

Other members of the band, including Brandon himself, sustained concussions and broken bones as a result of the accident, who are all continuing to recover.
