Alternative rock band Youth Illusion drop their newest song “Suffer In Silence.” Released at the end of March, the track is an excellent sign of continued progression from the band.
The opening verse is heavy on the ambience. But the song turns on a dime, morphing to a hard rock head banger. It’s a mosh-pit-ignitor, a high-energy track that flips from Imagine Dragons to Disturbed in seconds. This tennis-match-like tempo goes back and forth throughout the rest of the song.
The music video for “Suffer In Silence” represents the song well, using colors to creatively reflect the song’s overall vibe. When the pace quickens, a red filter engulfs the screen. The imagery becomes much more aggressive.
Youth Illusion have been making big strides, recently signing with Reaction Management and booking a spot in Lume. Fest on April, 15.
