We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Noiseheads’ new music video for their song “Ballad Of Me, Myself, And I” (watch/listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming full-length, titled Sitcoms for Aliens, which is scheduled to be released on January 5, 2018.
Nick Gray of Noiseheads commented on the song:
“This song was inspired by the loser in all of us. We’re all lazy and stupid. Also, this track probably belongs in 1996 but considering rock radio hasn’t changed their playlist since, we thought this could just slide in without anyone noticing. Then, we could pretend we’re this band that’s been around for 25 years since nostalgia is the only thing that sells anymore. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to binge watch the rest of Home Improvement on Hulu.”
Their third self-produced release under the band’s own label, Silly Monkey Music, Sitcoms for Aliens is a modern twist on 70s psych, 80s punk, 90s fuzz and 00s indie rock. Orchestral elements, electronic samples, guitar solos and searing, melodic vocals are but a few of the many sounds to expect off the new release. “Like the alternative rock that filled the 1990s, the band’s work is full of emotion.” (Sandspaper)
Formed in 2010, Noiseheads’ debut album was featured in several top album lists of 2013 and, alongside their 2015 EP release, has been streamed and sold in nearly 40 countries. The band have toured around the US and shared bills with Fuel, K. Flay, Collective Soul, Murs, SOJA, Psychedelic Furs, and many more. In addition to a television debut under their belt, Noiseheads have been played during drive times on several radio stations across the US, in the UK, and Australia. “When major label execs are calling… and wanting to learn as much as possible about a young band… you gotta feel like something good is happening.” (Soundwerkz A&R)
