We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Odd Folks’ music video for their song “Virginia Beach” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s sophomore album Broozer, which is available now through Hybrid Records. You can purchase the album here.

The band commented:

We wanted the music video for ‘Virginia Beach’ to reflect the personal nature of the lyrics while still remaining open ended enough for viewers to attach their own meaning to the narrative. This song was written over the course of multiple tours and it describes how being on the road with my best friends, or at home with a girl I love, helps with my anxiety better than anything else ever could. The lyrics also depict the difficulty coming home from a tour and settling back into regular routines along with fighting to manage the relationships that are stretched thin by time, distance, and lack of communication.

We had a blast creating this video with our amazing Producer/Director, John Patrick Hughes, and want to give a very special thanks to him and the brilliant actors, Hannah Ashby and Matthew James, for all of their hard work and for bringing this song to life.

Thank you all for watching and we hope you enjoy, Virginia Beach!
