Opeth recently posted a Facebook status about bassist Martin Mendez starting a new death metal project called White Stones. White Stones have also announced their signing to Nuclear Blast Records for their debut album, Kuarahy, due for release on March 20, 2020. The album was written and recorded by Mendez (bass/guitar), Eloi Boucherie (Vocals), and Jordi Farre’ (Drums). Read more about the side project here.
