New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth some new music from As We Divide. Today, the band is premiering their music video for “Resurgence” which features guest vocals from Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker. The track has plenty of creative and fiery guitar riffs with decadent leads twisting through the rhythmic cadences. The harsh screams give the song a grimacing viscera, emotionally hellbent on unleashing as much catharsis as possible. The sung vocals are a beautiful touch, maintaining a clear and beautiful aesthetic.
“Seeing this band grow and mature a quickly as it did has surprised me. We have not only become better musicians, but we have learned that being completely open and honest with your art adds so much to your craft. This is As We Divide’s best work to date, and we could not be prouder of it.” – Robbie Hunt (vocals).
“Being a part of this band has been an emotional rollercoaster. We’ve all experienced so much together. We’re proud of ‘Resurgence’ because it showcases a more innovative and impassioned approach to our sound. We’ve matured greatly as a unit and it shows in the new music. I’m ecstatic to release this track as well as more coming in the future. Enjoy.” – John Murphy (guitar).
The band has been recording at Undead Studios, working closely with Michael Martensonof Detroit rock band, Boys of Fall (InVogue Records).
The five-piece post hardcore band hails from Detroit, MI. After high school Jacob Danke(guitar) and Robbie Hunt(vocals) decided to write music together, they were quickly joined by John Murphy(guitar), Tedd Turnwald(bass) and Zack Paryaski(drums).
