Video Premiere: Bev Rage & The Drinks – ‘Someone New’

Bev Rage & the Drinks present a brand new-video, “Someone New” from one of the tracks off their beloved album Cockeyed.
Bev Rage & the Drinks is the passion project of Beverly Rage, “Chicago’s saltiest drag chanteuse,” and her thirsty gang of Drinks, Sam Westerling, Aaron Ehinger, Trevor Cole, and Dan Jarvis. Starting in 2015, Bev Rage & the Drinks have played all over Chicago and regionally with bands including A Giant Dog, Pansy Division, Shonen Knife, Nobunny, Hunx & his Punx, and many more.
The Drinks are devoted to bringing an assault of queer energy with a much-needed dose of humor, as evident through their live shows and their debut full length album, Cockeyed.
As the second single off of Cockeyed, “Someone New” highlights a date gone wrong between Beverly and her eerily familiar counterpart. Follow Bev Rage & the Drinks on social media for tour dates, local shows, and more videos.
“Hey fellas! My name is Beverly Rage, 35, from Chicago!” she says. “I’m interested in a guy who can keep up with me at my favorite bars, likes a little cat ‘n’ mouse play, and who doesn’t have an emergency contact. In the past, men have called me damaged, but you can’t get a mess without a wreck, am I right? They certainly changed their mind after a few dates, though. Trust me, I’m very normal and trustworthy. Do you want to see my basement? Xo, Bev”
