New Noise Magazine is out here drifting through a lovely field thanks to the light and hazy “All I Wanted” by The Jim Reynolds Band. There’s a vintage aesthetic to the song, really bringing a happy, elated elegance to the song’s atmosphere. Take a listen to this and feel the world melt away. “All I Wanted” is off of the upcoming record, Glitter Bomb, out on July 22nd via Vow Records.
“‘All I Wanted’ is a song perfect for a summer evening at the beach, groovy and mellow like a gentle dance, it inspires repeated listens and good drink. Check out the elegant piano-work by our drummer (not a typo) Brian Hobart. Lyrically, the song wonders about the duality of how tiny and insignificant our small place in the universe is; and yet nonetheless it burns so bright for us that on fact this world is ‘all i (or any of us) ever wanted.'” – Jim Reynolds
