We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Living Room’s new song “Cloud Communion” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming split with Typesetter title Glimpse, which is scheduled for release on July 8th through Jetsam Flotsam.

Vocalist/guitarist Scott Fitzgerald commented on the song: “‘Cloud Communion’ is a reflection on memory and its relationship to how fast the world moves around us.”

Pre-order Glimpse here.

Jetsam-Flotsam released Living Room’s debut LP Moonchaser in 2014, the same year Black Numbers released Typesetter’s debut LP Wild’s Ends. The bands connected while touring on their respective records and agreed to work on a split. The result showcases two bands that have grown substantially since their debuts. Living Room’s sound has become fuzzier, noisier, amplifying the raw emotion that made their previous releases so powerful. Likewise, Typesetter’s sound has broadened, plunging their Midwest punk-rock into deeper, darker, more expansive realms.

Typesetter also recently released a cassette through Black Numbers titled Typsetter #5, which you can stream here.
