New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the smooth, cool premiere of “Disappear” by Pale Shade. The band utilize a really unique, albeit eerie presence in their vocals. The track bursts with an explosion of ambient guitars in the hook, really driving the song to a shimmering atmosphere. The final two minutes of the song is a roller coaster of instrumentals, bombarding the ear with fuzzy distorted layers. Take a listen to the song below, and enjoy these hazy textures as Friday winds down. “Disappear” is off of the upcoming release, Songs For Disappearing, out on July 13th.
“‘Disappear’ was one of the first tracks I wrote for the album. It deals with the vices and existential thoughts involving going through the motions daily and being spread to thin.” – Pale Shade
“Balancing between shoegaze, lo-fi and slowcore, and hailing from South Jersey, Pale Shade have been known for their exceptionally loud live performances. Slow, heavy and on all counts loud…the epitome of the rising band’s mesmerizing compound of darkness, noisiness and intensity.” – Destroy//Exist
