We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Prayers of Sanity’ music video for their song “Someday” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Face of the Unknown, which is scheduled to be released on April 28th through Rastilho Records. You can purchase the album here.

The band comment on the song & video:

“We’re extremely proud to present our new video for the track ‘Someday.’ This song is taken from the new album ‘Face of the Unknown’ and we believe it reflects the overall attitude of the album. We feel strongly that our new material is a step up for us, both in terms of songwriting and musicianship, so we hope the fans like the new songs.

This video was directed by Filipe “Soft” Correia who have worked with us before on the ‘Confrontations’ video and it was recorded in a solitary-cell, in an old prison that is now known as LAC, which is now an artist association based in Lagos that houses a lot of bands and promotes art and creativity.”

Portugal’s Prayers of Sanity are best known for their fast and old-school thrash-metal attack. After releasing two successful albums, Religion Blindness in 2009 and Confrontations in 2012, they are back as a power-trio to unleash their third album, Face of the Unknown.

Recorded and mixed by vocalist/guitarist Tião Costa, Face of the Unknown showcases the Portuguese trio in their top shape, delivering ten tracks that merge the relentless and undiluted fury of classic thrash-metal with the raw intensity of punk.
