Sharkswimmer are stoked to premiere “Windowsill,” the latest track from their new record Stolen Goods, out November 5 on Cosmic Western.
Like so many forebears in punk and rock before them, four-piece outfit Sharkswimmer formed their gritty, textural indie-punk sound in the depths of Brooklyn. Over the last year, they’ve played countless shows, put out their first EP along with two music videos ,and now they’re back with their new, heavy-hitting single, “Windowsill.”
“This is the first track featuring bassist, Steph Buschardt on lead vocals,” the band says. “’Windowsill’ explores the power of manipulation, the male gaze, and being boxed in by someone else’s desires.”
