The Allegorist just released a video for her haunting song “Humandroid Lovers” from her new record Hybrid Dimension I, which came out via Detroit Underground July 18, 2018.

“The audiovisual album Hybrid Dimension I tells an exact, imaginative tale, but there is also a deeper meaning laying underneath each story,” The Allegorist says. “The individual stories are connecting to each other creating more layers and multiplying the dimensions. In the storybook, you can read about the ‘Humandroid Lovers’ and their relationship as a person and a droid. In sound and vision, I describe the complexity of emotional bonds in any meaning.”
“It´s quiet or even subconscious, fragile and immensely strong at the same time,” she continues. “I composed the track in this same order. At the beginning, we have just been born; we are just breathing, and then we are slowly growing love. We start to collect memories, share mutual experiences, and we become in a way dependent. I represent these connections on the visual level.
“In the middle of the track, I symbolize the fragility with a self-recorded violin sample. Since I cannot play the violin, the unpolished sound I could create with it perfectly represents the feeling of our naked, honest, and imperfect self. Too many times we try to hide the rough core of ourselves, when in fact connecting on that level is the most beautiful. At the end, I let the emotions explode in wild colors and beating heart rates ,and we celebrate the fire we all were born with.“
