The band comments on the song:
“It’s basically about the different stages you go through when a relationship breaks down – sadness, self-loathing, doubt, self-preservation, enlightenment, closure and everything else in between. It’s ultimately an anthem of realising what you’re worth.
Musically, in terms of writing it, it came together really quickly. It’s probably one of the first songs we’ve written collectively as a unit that we’re all fully behind. We’ve managed to cram everything in that we think represents the band best – hooks, riffs, emotion and melody.”
