Bay Area punks Beneath You release their debut album, General Hermitude (Sell The Heart Records) on November 21.
Beneath You bring melodic pop-punk mixed with touches of emo, ska, and alt-rock to the indie scene. The band is powered by brothers Gavin and Jason Hammon of Dance Hall Crashers on drums and guitar, Serge Verkhovsky of Limp and Year of the Fist on bass, and newcomer Mary Diridon on vocals. Catchy riffs, tight rhythms, dynamic vocals, and thoughtful lyrics define Beneath You’s songs, weaving nostalgia with something undeniably fresh.
