Founding member Todd Congelliere shares his thoughts:
“It’s awkward to try to say nice things about my bands, but ‘Par For The Curse’ is our best album. No time for that false modesty bullshit. I know every band says this about their latest effort, as they should. But I really think this is it. Our next album is gonna suck nads, so I’m kinda bummed about this.”
Clown Sounds was actually the name of the solo album that Todd Congelliere released in 2010. Initially, he had no plans to form a lineup and play the songs. During the Toys That Kill 2017 European tour, drummer Jimmy Felix suggested that they should play the songs live. The band took their name from the solo album Clown Sounds. They have previously released two albums: Preacher Maker and Born Under A Bad Sigh.
