Johnstown Pennsylvania’s Endless Mike & the Beagle Club is best described as “a singer/songwriter with a very loud punk rock band.” Formed by Mike Miller and a group of friends in the independent music scene of Johnstown, the band have spent the last 20 years (off and on) in rock clubs, basements, bars, theaters, DIY venues, and anarchist squats, performing in countless mutations—from a solo acoustic act to a full 18-piece rock band and everything in between.
Through it all, the focus remains on both the lyrics and the unique arrangements, celebrating the collective struggle and the immersive joy of being a part of something bigger than onesself. On October 17, the band releases its newest effort, The Forest is the Trees. It was recorded as a six-piece band in nine days in an abandoned Catholic church and was released on the band’s own label, Sidewalk Chalk. Order it now here.
