Combining noise and post-hardcore punk with Latin rhythms and jazz melodies, it’s hard to compare St. Louis’ Inner City Witches to any other band. They’ve been touring extensively to get their special formula just right, and it’s that unique musical blend is what made their searing 2022 debut Noir so exciting.
Tomorrow, they’re releasing their B-sides EP HOOF!, but you get to hear it a day early.
“‘HOOF!,’ as a collection of songs is the best of our B-sides,” the band say. “It is the absolute perfect 20-something minutes of our raw energy and emotion that we can give you before releasing a full-length album.”
It’s hard to not get excited about the band’s frenetic energy that’s somehow chaotic and catchy at the same time. Few bands are this raw and fresh on their studio albums, much less on their B-sides collection. Check out the EP below.
