After a long hiatus, Alabama punks Latin for Truth are back with their classic lineup that recorded the band’s debut album, Eleven Eleven. Now they’re releasing their first new record since their 2013 EP It’s Good to Be Clown Shoes When You Work at the Circus. Their third LP, Southern Fantasia, on TS/AL Collective, drops on streaming services today. Recorded at Lucky Sound Studio in Fort Payne, AL, it’s a melodic post-hardcore opus that sees the band at the absolute top of their game.
“I’m a fan of the dudes in my band,” says guitarist/vocalist Charles Hastings. “I’m excited to hear what we make and what they do live. we’re ready to shred and offer up new tunes to the people. making records is a holy thing to me and you have to be prepared to write and sing the gospel and live it by collapsing on stage.”
