Canadian hardcore act Poisoned Seeds was formed in 2020 out of members of Hollow Ground, Go it Alone, Day of Mourning, and Blue Monday. Influenced by late-90s heavy hardcore like 100 Demons, All Out War, and Piecemeal, they pride themselves on their melodic, metallic hardcore sound that’s still heavy as hell.
Tomorrow they’re releasing their self-titled debut LP and today you get a sneak peek at the upcoming record. “This record is for fans of hardcore!” explains vocalist Brad. “Old and new. We didn’t set out to sound like anything specific, we just knew it had to be heavy and I think we accomplished that. We are proud of the music we have made and honoured to have WAR records involved in making that happen.”
Both furiously fast and powerfully heavy, Poisoned Seeds is a powerhouse record that absolutely cuts to the heart of any hardcore fan. Check out the album below.
