The Speakeasy’s debut, self-titled album drops tomorrow via Thousand Islands Records, and you can preview it right now with us.

Hailing from Montreal, the punk band take a lot of influence from early skate punk and bands like Lagwagon and NOFX, but bring that sound into the modern era with plenty of flair. Of the record, their press release explains:
“It’s a raw expression of life’s kaleidoscope inspired by passion, the pandemic, the grind of work, the struggles of mental health, the grip of addiction, the complexities of love, the allure of sex, and the resilience found in getting knocked down and rising again. Their music isn’t just a soundtrack; it’s a celebration of punk spirit that invites you to join the revolution. The stage is set; the amps are buzzing, and The Speakeasy are ready to ignite.”
