Documentary Premiere: The Venomous Pinks – We Must Prevail: The Making of Vita Mors

Arizona femme-punk band The Venomous Pinks put out their latest album Vita Mors on SBAM Records in 2022, and it was an unbridled force of feminist punk energy. If you were a fan of that album—and if you aren’t yet, I highly recommend that you listen to it—you’ll really enjoy taking a look at how the entire thing was made. Well, luckily filmmaker and photographer Alexander Thomas brought a camera into the studio with the Pinks and documented the process of creating Vita Mors to give fans a peek behind the curtain. Whether you’re a big Venomous Pinks fan, or you’re just curious about the process of how an album is made, you’ll love Thomas’ insightful documentary We Must Prevail: The Making of Vita Mors.

Today, the Venomous Pinks are debuting the documentary for fans of New Noise. In addition to the Pinks, there’s also appearances from Bad Cop/Bad Cop bassist and vocalist Linh Le, The Last Gang frontwoman Brenna Red, and legendary producer and engineer Cameron Webb who has worked with the likes of Motörhead and Alkaline Trio. Check out the behind-the-scenes documentary below.

The Pinks also have a few big tour dates coming up. Check out their list of live shows below.
