Today, Bitters and Distractions shares The Home That Procrastination Built 7″, their seventh release, which sees release via Sell The Heart Records on March 15.
Bitters and Distractions is an acoustic punk duo from Long Island, New York, consisting of Jeremy Quitko and Johnides. While initially starting as a project where Quitko handed lyrics (which often dealt with his former years in Colorado and the disappearance of a close friend) over to Johnides to bring life in the form of song, the duo eventually began writing and recording together, and receiving too much praise to not expand what they wrote about and make the project an “official” band.
Simply, what Bitters and Distractions offers is proper punk rock done with an acoustic guitar – it’s fierce, to the point, and not soon forgettable.
