EP Premiere: Last Night of Solace – Phantom Pain

Last Night of Solace

Texas-based metalcore outfit Last Night of Solace have been captivating listeners with their unique blend of metalcore, hip-hop, and ’90s goth and industrial. Their electric live performances have earned them the chance to share stages with the likes of Escape The Fate, Until I Wake, Dark Divine, Catch Your Breath, Point North, Notions, Garzi, Fit For an Autopsy, Element Eighty, and many more. In fact, tonight they’re wrapping up the West Coast run of their ‘Let Em Cook Tour’ with their friends in Fatalist.

Today, Last Night of Solace are debuting their new EP Phantom Pain, a powerfully introspective and vulnerable album with the earnest emotion of emo meeting the slick power of metalcore. “The Phantom Pain EP is an artistic representation of moving on and understanding oneself,” explains vocalist Cameron Foley about the new record. “When I was writing these songs I took an introspective lyrical approach recounting some of the hardships I’ve experienced on a personal level the last few years as I’ve transitioned from an adolescent to an independent young adult. Writing this music helped me gain a deeper emotional intelligence with myself, allowed me to grow comfortable with the changes in my personality, and facilitated healing from heartbreak and conflict, I hope this music has a similar effect on those who listen.”
