Montreal, Canada alt rock band Seed Toss are sharing their new EP, Love Business, and you can check it out right here at New Noise.
The band started with Max and Donavan looking to embrace non-complex music, bringing the essence back to just having fun playing catchy and exciting tunes. With influences like Superchunk, Weezer, Dinosaur Jr., and Tony Molina, Max sent a couple demos to Donavan and the rest is history, with Donavan later enlisting his long-time friend and drummer Marco to join the band.
Once Seed Toss got into a rhythm, they soon added a second guitar player to enhance the band’s live sound—John then joined as the rhythm guitarist.
With their debut EP in tow, the crew are eager to show all listeners what they’ve got.
Max offers a bit of background on the EP:
“…The Love Business EP is the result of me (Max) wanting to write catchy and fun music with friends without overthinking anything, It was an opportunity for me to experiment more with pop oriented melodies and hooks while writing most often from other perspectives than my own.
“It was also another chance for me to experiment with different recording techniques and tones…”
