EP Premiere: SOLAR HAZE – ‘The Solar Age’

L.A. stoner metal rockers SOLAR HAZE are finally ready to release their new EP, The Solar Age, and ahead of the action, New Noise is streaming the new EP exclusively, right here.

SOLAR HAZE are a mix of sludge rock, punk, with heavy elements of doom and stoner metal. The EP appropriately takes the listener from slow and steadfast grooves to manic, psychedelic, fast-paced riffs, all surrounded by deliciously fun punk-tinged vocals. The EP was produced by Eddie Vasquez of San Diego-based band Tzimani.

Coinciding with the release of The Solar Age, SOLAR HAZE will perform at Blunt Force Trauma Fest, a virtual mini festival presented by Ebony Jeanette PR and Metal Assault Records, streaming Friday, July 16 at 8 p.m. ET here.

The event is headlined by Weed Demon and also features Against The Grave, Parallax, Whitephosphorus, The Conquering, and Trees of Salem. For more information about the Blunt Force Trauma Fest, check out the event on Facebook.

You don’t have to wait for the stream, or even tomorrow’s official release, to check out the EP, available to stream in full below:
