Psychic Reader Records are pleased to present a full-album stream of Bad Shock, a compilation album by Indonesian band SAS Group. Bad Shock contains many of SAS Group’s greatest hits from the 1976-1981 era, when they were deep into the progressive and hard rock scenes in Southeast Asia. SAS Group’s first LP from 1975 is a holy grail for many record collectors, with only 200 vinyl pressings in existence, often selling for thousands of dollars
Cotter Phinney from Psychic Reader Records says regarding the release:
“I’m so happy SAS is getting the attention they deserve. I was blown away when I first heard this stuff. They have so many more bangers we couldn’t include in this release because the masters are long gone, and finding high-quality tapes is so tough. I hope we can do a part II soon.”
Bad Shock is available digitally and physically now via the Psychic Reader Bandcamp storefront.
