For over two decades, Virginia musician Dave Allison has been the head noisemaker and vocalist for the experimental/psych rock ‘n’ roll unit Last Remaining Pinnacle, releasing multiple split EPs and two full-length albums along the way. Hologram Hotel is Allison’s first solo EP, which he recorded this past Fall in New York City.
The title track harnesses a haunting spirit that combines moments of dark psychedelia with ambient nuances. The song also features guest vocals from NYC avant-garde musician Black Bra who adds a cinematic element to the piece with her stunning voice and undeniable intensity. The Hologram Hotel EP is available now on CD and cassette from Custom Made Music with a limited edition 12″ version coming later this summer.
