Split Premiere: Nasalrod/Victims Family – ‘Victims Family & Nasalrod in the Modern Meatspace’

Victims Family & Nasalrod in the Modern Meatspace

On this unholy occasion, Santa Rosa legends Victims Family cross paths with outlandish PDX spazz-rockers Nasalrod, as they bring on their gritty split 12” LP titled Victims Family & Nasalrod in the Modern Meatspace. The LP is being released through Nadine Records today.

Listen to the split here:

Nadine Records owner/Nasalrod Bassist, Mandy Morgan shares her thoughts:

“It’s an honor to be releasing ‘In The Modern Meatspace’ on my label, Nadine Records. I think this is not only the best batch of songs Nasalrod has written, but it’s a dream come true to be sharing a split LP with Bay Area legends Victims Family, who are some of our best-loved buddies as well as one of our favorite bands to listen to, play and tour with.”

Although both the bands have their unique sound, they share a common aggression in the way they play their punk music. They have done several mini-tours together before, and have found mutual respect. This led to today’s split LP release. Each band have five nasty tracks in their arsenal, and they show their thoughts about mass shootings, police brutality, religious manipulation, impermanence, impending apocalypse, etc. through their lyrics.
